Now available, a new edition of our best selling Invasive Species: Cuttlefish Are Bastards. An artist book inspired by an obscure copy of a Government of BC field manual for identifying invasive species and unnatural predators living in the wild. Part illustrated guidebook, part satirical field manual, this limited-edition artist book catalogues each invasive species by its “real name,” along with where it’s found and where it shouldn’t be. The environmental damage and ecological disruption caused by invasive species is explored in detail — okay, maybe not fully explored — but their worst offenses are catalogued all the same.

Blending natural history illustration, and black humour, Invasive Species sits at the intersection of environmental commentary and artist publishing. Published in a limited edition of just 50 copies, this collectible art book costs $20 CAD, shipping included anywhere.
